Good morning all.

First of all a thank you to all that could represent and be a part of the short notice meeting that has happened last night.

We need to express that these meetings are there to hear your voice and input on how this league is run to the best of its ability.

From the discussions that have proceeded from the evening meeting (20/10/24) there has been changes to the winter season 2024/25.

From this the majority of the vote has gone to making 5 divisions. This will mean that there will be 4 divisions of 9 with one division being set to 10. 

Following from this, a vote again from the majority was made on the format of the cup. Whether the old format or new format that was trialled in the summer season. The majority vote has been made to go back to the old format of the knockout cup and consolation cup.

The Committee has been discussed upon, again I implement the importance of being at these meetings to hear your voice.

New positions and new committee members have been assigned with thanks.

Due to the actions of taking the new divisions and cup format into account it is only fair for us to communicate to you that the season will be delayed by a week and to start on the 31st October in order to get the changes implemented. 

Including that each position of the committee will now be voted upon at each agm (season) as we listen to you! 

Apologies to all, however we are all trying our hardest to make the best possible of this league and make everyone proud of being part of the Eastwood & District Pool League.
